| It's a Fourth of July swimming party! Sable began her 9th year of her weekly therapy swims at Paws Aquatic! |

The time has passed so swiftly...she was just a puppy when we adopted her, and now she has completed eight years of weekly swims with her therapist, Halle, at Paws Aquatics in nearby Milwaukie, Oregon. The swims are necessary because of her badly damaged left front paw (three toes missing from some puppyhood accident) which makes it impossible for her to get as much excercise as she really needs on land. But in the water -- where she dearly loves to be -- she has no problems getting exercise, and she is still a very strong girl as a result.
To start Sable's sixth webpage we chose this celebration! With Halle, and Sable's family -- Eric and Jane (Eric was taking the picture), and our friend Mike Sullivan who helped us pick Sable up at Westside German Shepherd Rescue in Los Angeles, and therefore is part of her family too.
